The Grand Illumination

Last night we went to the Grand Illumination in downtown Richmond. This is a big event where the lights are lit on downtown buildings, a big tree and lots of reindeer at the James Center. There was a lot of music, a marching band parade with Santa, and Christmas crafts and displays. It was no Temple Square, but it was still really fun and it got us in the holiday spirit.

We went for a canal boat cruise with Santa. We sang carols and Brinley got to sit on Santa's lap for the first time! Santa was really cute with her. I wish I could have gotten a better picture! To view this post with all of the pictures, click here.
